Concerts by the Sea

St. Andrew’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church is pleased to announce the 2017 Concerts by the Sea schedule of performances.  This season includes repeat and first-time appearances by both local musicians and artists from the New York metropolitan area and beyond, presenting a variety of musical styles, from jazz to classical, art song to Broadway.  The concerts are generally held on weekends and take place in the church.  The church is located at 182 Willow Avenue, Little Compton, Rhode Island.

Robert returns with a program of old and new music for solo violin.


Robert has  a multifaceted career as     an orchestral player, chamber musician

and   solo   recitalist.   Interested   in

contemporary  music  for  as  long  as

he can remember, his performances

balance   the   kinetic,   colorful   and

sincere     music     of     today     with

Americana and Baroque traditions.

Cythian Knight and friends


Cythian presents a program of vocal solos and duets from the classical repertoire, as well as some modern day favorites.


October 22, 4:00 p.m.  Al Fresco Flutes


Shirley Hardison and Gianna Sullivan


The flute duo will perform a program of duos, both classical and popular


November 19, 4:00  “Fusion”


Benjamin Larsen, cello, and Hyungjin Choi, piano


The duo returns with their popular mix of classical and jazz pieces for cello and piano




Admission for all concerts (at the door): $20 adults, $10 children under 18

Season tickets, $120/adults and $60/students under 18, are available until April 23
