Our parish has been involved since last May in hands-on ways with the mission of Pete and Andy's. At least 40 of our members have been up to Pete and Andy's on Friday mornings to help with unpacking the food, organizing clothing donations to the Thrift Shop, and hauling broken down cardboard back to LC or Tiverton to recycle. Again, this year, St. Andrew's by-the-Sea will take up our annual Easter Offering (from Easter Day thru the Day of Pentecost) to contribute in late May to the mission and ministry of Pete and Andy's. Any checks written to St. Andrew's by-the-Sea and marked “Easter Offering” or “Pete and Andy's” will be credited to the Easter Offering as we move forward in the season of Eastertide.
The Vestry, Outreach Committee, and volunteers of St. Andrew's by-the-Sea hope that you will be generous, as we seek to assist and support the parish of St. Peter's and St. Andrew's in their worthy and critical work for all God's people in their neighborhood. Happily, the Rev. Maryalice Sullivan will be a guest preacher on May 3rd at St. Andrew's during the Easter season. You will therefore be able to hear for yourself about the holy work her parish is doing in the name of our resurrected Lord Jesus!
Our Food Bank Ministry and Outreach:
If you are interested in helping at the St. Pete's and St. Andy's Food Bank in Providence on April 10th and May 1st, please contact Virginia. We hope to take 8-10 people each time we go up. We meet at St. Andrew's at 9 am and carpool. Those of us who have already been, are quite sure that you will be inspired!
We continue to work together to fill the big green bucket in the Narthex with paper products and personal hygiene products, as well as pasta and sauce, beans and rice, to be shared equally between the Westport Food Pantry and the Little Compton Food Bank (which also serves Tiverton residents). The need is greater now than ever!

We are asking for recipes for a St. Andrew's by-the-Sea Cookbook, to be published late this year.
Forms to submit a recipe for review are in the Narthex. If you have questions see Linda Findlay, Lora MacFall, Cindy Burns, Mary Mackintosh, or Martina Halsey.

SAVE YOUR LEES MARKET RECEIPTS AND EARN BACK MONEY FOR ST. ANDREW'S
St. Andrew's has signed up to participate in a charitable program administered by Lees Market. Bring all your Lees receipts to church and deposit them in the Lees Market Receipt basket in the Narthex. We will turn those receipts back into Lees and will receive a percentage back of the total amount of the receipts. Thanks for your participation!
