Our Food Bank Ministry and Outreach:
If you are interested in helping at the St. Pete's and St. Andy's Food Bank in Providence on September 4th, please contact Virginia. We hope to take 8-10 people each time we go up. We meet at St. Andrew's at 9 am and carpool. Those of us who have already been, are quite sure that you will be inspired!
We continue to work together to fill the big green bucket in the Narthex with paper products and personal hygiene products, as well as pasta and sauce, beans and rice, to be shared equally between the Westport Food Pantry and the Little Compton Food Bank (which also serves Tiverton residents). The need is greater now than ever!
We are asking for recipes for a St. Andrew's by-the-Sea Cookbook, to be published late this year.
Forms to submit a recipe for review are in the Narthex. If you have questions see Linda Findlay, Lora MacFall, Cindy Burns, Mary Mackintosh, or Martina Halsey.
SAVE YOUR LEES MARKET RECEIPTS AND EARN BACK MONEY FOR ST. ANDREW'S
St. Andrew's has signed up to participate in a charitable program administered by Lees Market. Bring all your Lees receipts to church and deposit them in the Lees Market Receipt basket in the Narthex. We will turn those receipts back into Lees and will receive a percentage back of the total amount of the receipts. Thanks for your participation!
Servers List: Changes have been made to the Vestry servers list for all the months please make sure you check them in the newsletter and in the Narthex.
A Reminder: On the fourth Sunday of every month, any cash donations put into the offering plate go directly into the Priests’ Discretionary Fund.
