Events and Announcements

Bible Study happens every Tuesday at noon. You are always welcome. Bring your Bible and your lunch if you like.

Our Food Bank Ministry and Outreach:

If you are interested in helping at the St. Pete's and St. Andy's Food Bank in Providence on March 6th or April 10th,  please contact Virginia. We hope to take 6-8 people each time we go up. We meet at St. Andrew's at 9 am and carpool. Those of us who have already been, are quite sure that you will be inspired!

We continue to work together to fill the big green bucket in the Narthex with paper products and personal hygiene products, as well as pasta and sauce, beans and rice, to be shared equally between the Westport Food Pantry and the Little Compton Food Bank (which also serves Tiverton residents). The need is greater now than ever!

SAVE YOUR LEES MARKET RECEIPTS AND EARN BACK MONEY FOR ST. ANDREW'S

St. Andrew's has signed up to participate in a charitable program administered by Lees Market.  Bring all your Lees receipts to church and deposit them in the Lees Market Receipt basket in the Narthex.  We will turn those receipts back into Lees and will receive a percentage back of the total amount of the receipts.  Thanks for your participation!

LENTEN SOUP AND STUDY
I want to share the plan that the Rev. George Harris, of the LC UCC, and I have made for our annual collaborative Lenten soup and study. All the gatherings will begin with soup and bread at 5:30 and be over at 7 pm. We always share warm fellowship with our friends at the LC UCC!

We are going to take a deep dive into the Passion Narratives of our Lord.

Here is the schedule:

March 4 at St. Andrew's
George will lead a conversation about Jesus turning the tables in the Temple in Jerusalem.

March 11 at the UCC
I will lead a conversation about the Last Supper and Jesus' time in the Garden of Gethsemane.

(no meeting on March 18th)

March 25 at St. Andrew's
George will lead a conversation about the events of Good Friday.

If you can help by making soup or bringing bread on either 3/4 or 3/25, please write me an email or text and let me know!

Blessings,
Virginia

A Reminder:  On the fourth Sunday of every month, any cash donations put into the offering plate go directly into the Priests’ Discretionary Fund.
