Wild Worship
Where: Fogland Beach
South end of 151 Bay St., Tiverton

When: 3:00 PM
We are invited to Wild Worship, led by the Rev. Norman MacLeod and John Berg of the Nature Conservancy. "Encountering God in the Environment" will happen at Fogland beach, at the south end of 151 Bay Street, Tiverton. Wild Worship is a combination of prayerful walking and noting the unique and special features of the ecosystem. The walk will take about 90 minutes. Please let Virginia know if you are planning to come.

The next Bible Study is September 23rd at noon. Feel free to bring your lunch. We will continue our close reading of the Gospel of Mattthew together. Future dates are September 30th and October 7th. 15th, 21st, and 28th
Please sign up to host a coffee hour in October and November.

A Concert to Combat Hunger and Food Insecurity in Little Compton, Westport, and Tiverton

Where: St. Andrew's by-the-Sea

All proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will be divided between
The Little Compton Food Bank (which also serves residents of Tiverton) and the Westport Food Pantry.
Come hear Umi Garrett, accomplished solo and chamber pianist andAmerican double bassist, Nina Bernat.

If you are interested in helping at the St. Pete's and St. Andy's Food Bank in Providence on November 7th, please contact Virginia. We have a full team for October 3rd! We hope to take 6-8 people each time we go up. We meet at St. Andrew's at 9 am and carpool. Those of us who have already been, are quite sure that you will be inspired!
SAVE YOUR LEES MARKET RECEIPTS AND EARN BACK MONEY FOR ST. ANDREW'S
St. Andrew's has signed up to participate in a charitable program administered by Lees Market. Bring all your Lees receipts to church and deposit them in the Lees Market Receipt basket in the Narthex. We will turn those receipts back into Lees and will receive a percentage back of the total amount of the receipts. Thanks for your participation!
The Ladies Luncheon resumes on September 24th at noon at the Boathouse in Tiverton. Please tell Joan Buhrendorf if you are planning to attend. We always have a lovely time together!!

Join Virginia at the Creation Care Conference on the morning of October 4th at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Providence. We are delighted to have Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D) RI, and Fmr. Rep. Bob Inglis (R) SC joining us for Creation Care Across the Divide: A Bipartisan Conversation on Climate Change. Breakfast will be served starting at 8:30 am. The conference starts promptly at 9 am.
Sunday, October 5th
We will host our annual Blessing of the Animals at noon on the Church lawn. All beloved pets are welcome! Invite your neighbors!
Friday, October 10th
We are invited to the Little Compton UCC for a potluck supper and a viewing of the movie, 42, which is about how Jackie Robinson broke down the color barrier in national baseball. Please sign up with Virginia. Many of us went in January to have supper and watch the Traces of the Trade. It was an excellent evening. This will be another great evening of fellowship and learning.
The next Men's Breakfast is on October 14th at 8:30 at Lexi-Lu's in Westport.
A Reminder: On the fourth Sunday of every month, any cash donations put into the offering plate go directly into the Priests’ Discretionary Fund.
