Looking for a Church?

Are you looking for a church in the Little Compton, S. Tiverton, RI or Westport, MA area?

Finding a church to attend is an important decision in your life, whether you’re moving into the area, coming back to church or you’ve never really been to church before.  This page will help you learn more about St. Andrew’s, so you know what to expect when you walk through our doors. Of course, there’s no better way to discover St. Andrew’s than by visiting us on a Sunday morning.

When you come through the doors, you’ll be met by our greeter and an usher will give you a copy of the day’s bulletin. The bulletin contains the order of service and important announcements about upcoming events. Also ask for a copy of the Welcome Brochure.  It provides information about worship schedules and an introduction to the many activities that we have.  You can sit anywhere you like. Our people are not worrisome about where they sit on a given Sunday. You won’t be in “somebody’s seat.”

You’ll see that the atmosphere is simple, bright and very pleasant. Our parishioners are always friendly, welcoming and interested in getting to know you.  However, you won’t feel pressured in any way, that is not our style!  We think it’s important to enjoy the experience when you come to church.

Since we are an Episcopal Church, our services are conducted from The Book of Common Prayer.  The Holy Eucharist is offered at each service.  All that are Baptized are welcomed to partake.  We are also very musically oriented and our parishioners love to sing!  We have a Music Director and a choir and are always welcoming new choir members.

Finally, after the 10 a.m. service, we have a Coffee Hour where parishioners get together over refreshments to socialize.  We would love you to stay for that!   It’s a great way to meet new people and to share stories.
